In addition to the new colors and effects included in the SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS Fall/Winter 2013/14 launch, there are also many new styles and sizes of beads and pendants. These new additions are innovating and inspiring. They compliment previous additions as well as bring an entire new layer to the SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS collection.

| Pure Leaf Family |
One of the most extensive and exciting line additions we have seen in a long time is the Pure Leaf family. The Pure Leaf Pendant and Pure Leaf Sew-On Stone possess a soft organic shape, one that mimics that found in nature. Like their name suggests, they have a tapered leaf shape. Articles in the Pure Leaf family would be fantastic paired with textile based jewelry projects such as Kumihimo braids, macramé knotting, crochet work, and wrapped bracelets. The fibers of the weaves would accentuate the natural feel of the crystal's shape. They would also make excellent drops, whether hung from earrings or necklaces.

| Victory Pendant |
The Victory Pendant has a distinct "mod" feel to it with its circle-in-a-circle design. It looks much like a medal, and as such, inspires one to hang it from a long chain or dangling earrings. Available in 18mm, 28mm, and 38mm sizes, it could be a very interesting look to try and layer these elements or incorporate several sizes of the same color into a design.

| 2-Hole Stairway Bead |
The new 2-Hole Stairway Bead looks the same as the traditional stairway bead with its slightly rounded corners and gently puffed appearance, but this new style has two holes instead of one. Having these two holes expands the design possibilities and even allows these beads to be used as spacers in bracelet and necklace projects. It would be interesting to try and pair the 2-Hole Stairway Bead with other popular 2 hole beads such as Twin Beads and Tila Beads.

| Mini Beads |
Mini Beads!!! Of all the beads in the new SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS launch, the new series of oval, round, and square mini beads have me the most excited. These petite beads are available in 6mm and 8mm sizes (the oval beads hover around those dimensions too) and would make excellent accent beads. Because of their smaller scale, I can also see these beads being ideal for bead weaving projects.

| BeCharmed Pearl |
Fans of Pandora style jewelry will be excited to hear that SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS has launched the new BeCharmed Pearl with a large 4.5mm hole. These beads have the same luminous appearance of a SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS crystal faux pearl but the traditional small bead hole has been replaced with a metal core stamped with "SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS". These superb quality beads will make an excellent addition to a Pandora Style bracelet or could even stand alone, hung from a silver chain.

| Flatback Rhinestone |
Continuing the organic and back to nature feel of many of this launch's innovations are the new Flatback Rhinestones in Marbled Colors. Ranging from ss9 - ss20 sizes, these forged-from-nature looking flatback rhinestones resemble granite and marble. The multi-facets on the rhinestone's surface are an interesting juxtaposition with the earthy natural appearance of the marble. I envision these new additions being incorporated into modern urban designs.

| Cabochon Chaton |
What is a cabochon chaton? That was my first question when I heard about this new creation from SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS. The top surface of these new line additions is rounded, looking from the top down like a cabochon pearl. However, the backside is pointed like a chaton. This combination allows these cabochon chatons to be placed into cast settings, added to epoxy clay projects, and used just the same as any other chaton.
