Julie's TableOn my beading table today are two projects that play off of geometrical shapes. I have one design that takes 3 vintage lucite faceted cube beads (in fabulous faux tortoise shell) and places them boldly on a thin beading chain. My other design is a work-in-progress in which I have combined Tila beads with Miyuki delicas in a way that creates a striped fan appearance. I made up this stitch as I went so I am just as curious as everyone else to see how it turns out!
Megan's TableOctober is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and it's just around the corner! My step-mom and my mother-in-law are both breast cancer survivors, so this is a cause that is very near to my heart. Plus, it's not like I needed much of an excuse to make a whole bunch of PINK jewelry! On my table this week, I have a hand stamped survivor necklace, a pink hemp macrame wrap bracelet, and lots of pretty pink SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS beads and sterling silver message beads.
