Featured Brand of the Month: Green Girl Studios Week Four

To round out our month dedicated to Green Girl Studios, I want to bring your attention to their beautiful findings. In this category you will find all kinds of buttons, links, connectors, and toggle clasps. Each finding has wonderful potential to be used in various ways.

One thing that can definitely be said for all of the Green Girl products is that they are well made. They have a good weight to them which helps make them strong, sturdy pieces to work with. If you are looking for something to complete your design or something to design around, these findings are wonderful pieces of inspiration.

In the Unconditional Love Necklace by Megan Milliken, she uses the Love Message link as the focal piece of the necklace. It works great in this design because as the necklace naturally twists, the swirl design on the back keeps your eye interested. Many of the Green Girl elements are double sided which makes for more exciting design opportunities.

I just love the whimsy of Green Girl Studios and I think that is why my favorite finding has to be the Leaping Woodland Bunny Toggle Clasp. With his big ears and detailed features, I can't resist how adorable this little bunny is and I am inspired to create a jewelry design around him.

I am smitten with this Sterling Silver Bird Toggle Clasp from Green Girl Studios.  The metal is gorgeous and the design is so beautiful.  This clasp would add so much to a piece that I would want to base my whole design to work around it.  Down to the swirly cloud look of the toggle loop, this piece feels like wearable art.

My pick for the Green Girl findings is this new trendy Arrow Button. If hung properly it can work as a cool focal piece or can be used as part of a clasp. This is a great example of the many different applications for the Green Girl Findings. I want to make this a focal element to a bead weaving piece using metal seed beads.

I'm completely drawn to the Pewter Skeleton Pendant Link from Green Girl Studios. Although this piece is a bit spooky, if you look close enough, you can see that the skeleton is holding a heart in its hand, which brings a touch of warmth to this piece. The attention to detail is what makes Green Girl Studios completely unique. I look forward to making a long necklace and incorporating this lovely pendant link.
