What's on my bead table today? Everything NEW, NEW, NEW! We are often getting shipments of new and exciting items here at Beadaholique, and often times my brain is so stimulated by the overabundance of new cool things, that I can't stop myself from beginning three (or four, or five) projects at once. Here I have a bracelet in the process of being made, using some amazing art deco-esque antiqued silver plated stampings, I have some funky cherry wood earring parts, equally quirky new earring hooks, and last, but certainly not least, some new retro style cameos in a groovy olive green with buttery cream colored relief. The cameos I plan to use in an upcoming video on how to do bead embroidery.
Julie's Table
Bottle caps are my theme for this week. I love them! We keep getting more in stock and in different colors too, which makes working with them constantly fun and inventive. On my table, you can see a bracelet in which I have flattened the bottle caps and then used the reverse side as my focal point. I also used some new colorful silhouette transfers that we just got in and placed them directly over the shiny silver. Off to the side of the photo is a bottle cap pendant. I am going to hang it on a black ball chain necklace, which I think will match the funky esthetic well.
